Surrender Yer Booty… to a screening!

March is Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month, and it’s the perfect time to take charge of your health. The Surgical Services Team at First Care Health Center has a message for you this Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month… Surrender Yer Booty and take an important step in protecting yourself through early detection with a screening colonoscopy, because your health is a treasure worth safeguarding!

In the photo, the Surgical Services Team at First Care Health Center is dressed in navy scrubs in one of the procedures room. There are pirate-themed props, including pirate eye patches, a treasure chest with blue “polyps,” a stuffed parrot, a pirate hat, and toy swords. A screen behind them shows a skull-and-crossbones graphic with a blue bandana, tying into the “Turn ND Blue” awareness theme. The group strikes fun pirate poses, bringing humor and creativity to raise awareness for important colorectal cancer screenings.
