Hello,
I would like to submit my recent trip to the spa after cutting out my toxic ex Angry Polyp. I relaxed, drank detox all day to prep for my photo shoot! It was an amazing day and I am now Polyp free! Love, (Much Happier) Colon

Neighbors Help Neighbors Start the Screening Conversation
Our team joined the TurnNDBlue campaign to show how neighbors help neighbors start the screening conversation. At Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Dakota, we believe preventive care begins with support, awareness and simple moments of connection like the ones shown here. By standing together, we’re helping spark conversations that can save lives and strengthen the health of our communities.

No need to be cheeky…We’ve got your back!
“Colon cancer is the second leading cause of cancer related deaths in North Dakota. Many colon cancers are preventable, yet around one third of eligible adults in our state are not up to date with recommended screenings, and that rate nearly doubles for those living in rural areas. Getting your colonoscopy is the best protection against colon cancer. Many cancers can be prevented, and survival is much higher if cancer is caught early. Dakota Medical and Surgical Center is committed to providing access to screening services in our region. Our team is dedicated to making the process as comfortable as possible. Referrals are always accepted but never required. Visit dakotamedical.com or call our office at 701-852-6144 for more information.” Dr. Gillian Lavik

Small State, Big Impact – Turn ND Blue
In recognition of Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month, our team at Richland County Health Department came together wearing blue to help Turn ND Blue and raise awareness about the importance of colorectal cancer screening and prevention. Surrender Yer Booty… to a screening!
March is Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month, and it’s the perfect time to take charge of your health. The Surgical Services Team at First Care Health Center has a message for you this Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month… Surrender Yer Booty and take an important step in protecting yourself through early detection with a screening colonoscopy, because your health is a treasure worth safeguarding!
In the photo, the Surgical Services Team at First Care Health Center is dressed in navy scrubs in one of the procedures room. There are pirate-themed props, including pirate eye patches, a treasure chest with blue “polyps,” a stuffed parrot, a pirate hat, and toy swords. A screen behind them shows a skull-and-crossbones graphic with a blue bandana, tying into the “Turn ND Blue” awareness theme. The group strikes fun pirate poses, bringing humor and creativity to raise awareness for important colorectal cancer screenings.
